Sorry you call us to much

Sprint is dropping the customers that call Customer Service to much. So they are basically saying sorry we don't want your business go to AT&T. I wonder who is person who thought of this idea? Do they still have a job. Check out the letter below.

Sounds a bit familiar to me ( we see shades of it in tiered service levels,hiding phone numbers from low spend,high maintenance,clients) .Overall it's an interesting practice though, as you willfully push clients to your competitors in the hope that each percieved gain on their part will in fact be a loss.
If a backlash forces a reversal the company will most likely respond with premium rate support numbers or a phone menu driven system which makes you lose the will to live wheile you wait for ages to get to a person, or both together.
